Target Deconfliction
Subjects, vehicles, phone numbers, and inactive long-term addresses are considered targets.
Event Deconfliction
Addresses that you will physically be at while conducting surveillance, a knock and talk, search warrant, etc. can be deconflicted as an active event for as little as a few hours up to 90 days at a time. You can always renew another 90 days as many times as necessary to keep it active.
Cyber Deconfliction
IP Addresses, email addresses, usernames, passport numbers, and even websites can all be deconflicted.
How Do I Sign Up?
Your supervisor can email the administrator Brandy Johnston at bjohnston@obn.ok.gov granting you authorization with the below information:
- Officer/Agent Name
- Work Email
- Office #
- Cell # (must to be able to be reached 24/7 at this number)
- Parent Agency (Agency you are loaned from if you're a TFO)
- Supervisor's Name
- Cell # (must to be able to be reached 24/7 at this number)
- Work Email
Once the authorization is received from your supervisor, you will get set up, (which will only take a few minutes), and you will receive a welcome email. You will then be able to deconflict.
Note: If you previously deconflicted under another agency and moved, you must have the authorization to deconflict for your new agency.
How Does it Work?
1. Submit your Request
If you are authorized to deconflict, you may call or email your request for Deconfliction. If you are unsure if you are authorized, reach out to your supervisor.
2. Get your return
We will send you your return with your unique Case Explorer (CE) number to your work email and let you know if another officer/agency is also conducting an investigation on your target/event.
3. Contact conflicting Agency
If you have conflicts, we will provide you with their name, agency, and contact information so you can reach out to them to clear any blue on blue conflicts.
