Agent Billy Fairl Morgan, 1951-1981

Agent Morgan was the pilot of a single engine fixed wing aircraft when it lost a wing causing the plane to roll out of control and crash during an aerial marijuana-spotting mission in the foothills of the Jackfork Mountains in southeastern Oklahoma. Two McAlester Police Officers on board also lost their lives. 

Agent William Ross Stewart, 1943-1985

Agent Stewart, along with  other agents, were moving in to arrest a suspected methamphetamine dealer during an undercover drug operation in Woodward, Oklahoma. The suspect was sitting in the driver seat of his vehicle. As Agent Stewart approached the right rear side of the vehicle, the suspect opened fire with a 12 gauge shotgun. Agent Stewart was mortally wounded. A Woodward Police Officer was also wounded. The suspect fled the scene on foot, but he was later apprehended. The suspect was ultimately convicted.

Agent Choc Douglas Ericsson, 1967-2005

Agent Ericsson died from severe head injuries while attempting to arrest a man who was suspected of driving under the influence near Woodward, Oklahoma. As Agent Ericsson attempted to extract the driver (who was resisting arrest), the vehicle accelerated. Agent Ericsson was dragged by the vehicle until he fell and was run over. The driver was subsequently apprehended and found to be under the influence of methamphetamine. The suspect was later convicted.
